Merry Christmas everyone! We’re enjoying some downtime with the kids, family and friends; plenty of mince pies, winter walks and festive TV. And, hope you are too!
With the New Year fast approaching, we’re already starting to think about what an exciting year we have ahead of us at Excel Scotland. But, before all that, it would be remiss to focus on the future without taking some time out to reflect on our business highs in 2018.
Bespoke Homes of 2018
Our busiest year to-date with 12 handovers over the 12 months; eight of which in the last six months. Each home totally different and built to our clients’ personal specifications and tastes.

West Kingsteps Development – Sold Out
Our development at West Kingsteps in Nairn was a great opportunity to custom build a dream home in a sought after coastal location. All five of the serviced plots on the luxury development sold by autumn with building already started for some.

Aberdeen Self Build and Renovation Show
We attended the Aberdeen Self Build and Renovation Show this year! Great to meet so many self build enthusiasts and network with architects and suppliers based in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. As a result, we’ve decided to extend our remit in Aberdeenshire and cover the entire Aberdeenshire area. Our new office base and team will be up and running in Q1 of next year (2019). We’ll have more information on the positive impact this will have to our services in Aberdeenshire in the new year, but in the meantime if you’d like to get in contact please feel free to do so on the website or call us (when we return from the festive break).
Christmas Party
It’s not Christmas without a party! Anybody who knows or has worked with our teams recognises what a dedicated lot they are. They also love a good day out, so on Saturday we all downed tools and pitted ourselves against each other for a bit of clay pigeon shooting followed by a night out in the dizzy heights of Elgin. I’m sorry we can’t divulge anymore than that but you know what they say… work hard, play hard!
