Hard to believe that we’re into month two of 2019 until we look at what’s been happening at Excel Scotland already this year; our first handover, new Elgin offices on the horizon and an increased presence in Aberdeenshire. It’s all go!
First handover of the year under our belt
We’ve already had our first ‘Handover Friday’ of 2019. You can be forgiven for missing it as we’ve not promoted it on the website or social media. Some of our clients prefer to remain anonymous and we 100 per cent respect their choice. It was another fantastic build in a beautiful countryside location; the perfect start to a new year.
Website refresh
Over the past couple of months, we’ve been working with our web design gurus, Design Image, to update our site with improved navigation and a modern extension of our Excel Scotland brand. We’re really pleased with the result and hope that you are too. It still features the same quality service information, range of house designs and portfolio of bespoke homes… just presented with a fresh new look.
New Elgin head office
Things are taking shape as we build our new head office in Elgin. Our team are currently located in two offices in rural Kinloss but these new state-of-the-art offices will centralise the team and provide a more accessible ‘shop window’ for what we do. We’re aiming to move in during Q2 of this year. Watch this space!
Expanding into Aberdeenshire
With more builds on the books in Aberdeenshire, we’ve expanded our team so that we can cover the entire region. Wayne Souter joins us and will be heading up our Aberdeenshire team. He’ll be working out of our new base in Whitecairns with easy access across the entire area – from Fraserburgh to Banchory and Huntly to Stonehaven. Our services remain the same as Moray and Inverness; quality design and build or build only packages with excellent customer service.

Moray Heroes Awards 2019
We’re delighted to be a category sponsor – Carer of the Year – at the first ever Moray & Banffshire Heroes Awards. It’s a great opportunity to recognise and reward our local heroes who go above and beyond for the people of our community.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Christmas Competition to win £300 worth of vouchers to spend at the delightful The Dowans Hotel in Aberlour. Christmas came early for Lorraine Chapman in Macduff when we announced that she had won on Christmas Eve.
